Satellite imagery & remote sensing

Two things, kept deliberately separate: turning imagery into an answer you can defend, and getting you the right imagery in the first place.

Part one

Processing & analysis

You supply the imagery, or we source it for you, and we turn it into a measured result: a corrected mosaic, a classified map, a change layer, a volume, a trend. Every deliverable carries an accuracy figure and a statement of what it is not fit for.

Orthorectification & mosaicking

Sensor and RPC modelling, ground control, terrain correction and seamless mosaics with a documented positional accuracy figure – not an assumed one.

Radiometric & atmospheric correction

Calibration to surface reflectance, haze and cloud masking, and cross-sensor normalisation so scenes from different dates are actually comparable.

Photogrammetry & 3D reconstruction

Digital surface and terrain models, dense point clouds, true-orthos and building extraction from stereo, tri-stereo and aerial blocks.

Change detection & time series

Multi-date differencing, trend and seasonality analysis, and alerting on a defined threshold rather than on whatever the algorithm happened to flag.

GeoAI feature extraction

Deep-learning segmentation and object detection – buildings, roads, vessels, solar arrays, vegetation – trained and validated on your own scenes with a held-out set.

Spectral & thermal analysis

Vegetation, moisture, salinity and burn indices, land-surface temperature and urban heat island mapping from multispectral and thermal bands.

SAR & interferometry

All-weather monitoring, coherence change detection and InSAR ground-motion analysis for subsidence, infrastructure and coastline work.

Accuracy assessment & QA

Independent validation against ground truth, confusion matrices, positional accuracy reporting and a written statement of what the product is not fit for.

Imagery pipelines & image services

Automated ingest, tiling, COG conversion and published image services your analysts and applications can consume directly.

Part two

Sourcing & supply

Most imagery projects go wrong at the buying stage – the wrong resolution, the wrong season, a licence that forbids the thing you wanted to publish. We specify the acquisition, source it, and make sure the licence permits your intended use.

Requirement definition

We translate the question into a specification: resolution, spectral bands, revisit, off-nadir limits, cloud tolerance and accuracy – before anyone quotes you for a scene.

Archive search & sourcing

We search operator and open archives – including Sentinel, Landsat and commercial catalogues – and tell you honestly when free data answers the question.

Tasking coordination

Where an archive scene will not do, we specify and coordinate a new acquisition with the operator, and manage the collection window and acceptance criteria.

Licensing & permits

Imagery carries end-user licence terms that restrict redistribution and derived products. We map those to your intended use before acquisition, and arrange supply under the authorisations the activity requires.

UAV & aerial capture

For sub-metre work over a small area, aerial or UAV capture flown by a licensed operator under the required GCAA and local permits, with the flight plan agreed in advance.

Delivery & handover

Delivered in the format and projection your systems actually use, with metadata, provenance and the processing chain documented end to end.

What it is used for

Questions imagery answers well

Urban growth & encroachment

Built-up change between two dates, unpermitted construction, and plot-level land use verification.

Environment & coastline

Shoreline movement, mangrove and habitat extent, dust and vegetation condition, water quality proxies.

Assets & infrastructure

Corridor monitoring, ground subsidence by InSAR, stockpile volumes and construction progress.

Response & situational awareness

Rapid post-event mapping, flood extent, damage assessment and a current base map when the old one will not do.
