A consultancy built for questions that do not have a vendor answer
infotech innovation (FZE) was established in Sharjah in 2024 to do geospatial, technology and applied research work properly – independently, transparently, and close to the science.
Who we are
Licensed to research. Structured to stay independent.
We are a Free Zone Establishment at the Sharjah Research, Technology and Innovation Park, licensed by the SRTI Free Zone Authority for consultancy, studies and research in the natural and engineering sciences, information technology consultancy, innovation and artificial intelligence research consultancy, and non-commercial information services.
That list is not a marketing taxonomy – it is the licence. It also describes exactly the kind of problem we take on: the ones that need a study before they need a supplier.
We are a small, senior team: engagements are led by the people who do the work, and scaled with named specialists from our research network rather than a bench of generalists.

No hidden incentives
We are a consultancy, not a reseller, and we take no vendor commissions. If the right answer is to keep your current platform and change how you use it, that is the answer you get.
Reproducible by design
Method, assumptions, datasets and code are documented to the standard a peer reviewer would expect. You can re-run the work without us.
Capability, not dependency
We measure success by what your team can do after we leave, not by how long the retainer runs.
Leadership
Owner-led, and accountable for the work
The firm is owner-managed. Engagements are directed personally rather than delegated to a delivery pool, and the person who scopes your work is the person answerable for it.
A consultancy should be judged on whether its client can make a better decision afterwards. Everything else is packaging.
The firm draws on a network of associate researchers and engineers across the UAE university and research-park ecosystem, brought in by name and by discipline for the specific study at hand.
Common questions
Working with us
Can you work outside the Sharjah free zone?
Yes. Our licence permits us to provide consultancy and research services to clients inside and outside the free zone, and we work across the UAE and the wider region. Where an engagement requires a mainland presence or a local partner, we will tell you before the proposal stage rather than after it.
Are you an Esri distributor?
No. We are an independent consultancy. We work across the ArcGIS platform and the open-source geospatial stack, but we do not sell or resell licences and we are not an authorised training provider. You buy software through your own chosen channel.
How do engagements usually start?
With a scoping conversation at no charge. If the question is one we can help with, we issue a short proposal setting out the method, deliverables, assumptions, timeline and fee. If it is not, we say so and point you to someone better placed.
Who owns the intellectual property?
You do, for everything produced under the engagement, unless we agree otherwise in writing. We retain our pre-existing methods and tooling. Where work is intended for publication, authorship and attribution are agreed at the outset.
Do you handle confidential or regulated data?
Regularly. We work under NDA as standard, and can operate inside your environment where data cannot leave it. Data handling, retention and destruction terms are set out in the engagement letter.
