Terms & Conditions
The terms on which we make this website available, and the basis on which we receive anything you send us through it.
Please read these terms carefully. They apply to everyone who uses this website.
1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of this website. By using the site you accept them. If you do not accept them, please do not use the site.
Separate terms apply to any professional engagement with us. Those are set out in an engagement letter and prevail over these terms in the event of a conflict.
2. Who we are
This website is operated by infotech innovation (FZE), a Free Zone Establishment holding a service licence issued by the SRTI Free Zone Authority, Government of Sharjah, with its registered office at Block B, SRTIP, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
In these terms, “we”, “us” and “our” mean infotech innovation (FZE), and “you” means the person using the website.
3. Using this website
You may view, download and print material from this site for your own internal business use. You must not:
- use the site for any unlawful purpose, or in any way that breaches the laws of the United Arab Emirates
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its server, or any connected system or network
- introduce any virus, malicious code or other harmful material
- copy, republish or commercially exploit the content without our written permission
- use automated means to scrape or harvest the site or the personal data in it
Misuse of the site may constitute an offence under Federal Decree-Law No. 34 of 2021 on Combatting Rumours and Cybercrimes, and we will report it where we consider it appropriate.
4. Intellectual property
All content on this site – text, graphics, logos, icons, illustrations, layout and code – is owned by us or licensed to us, and is protected by Federal Decree-Law No. 38 of 2021 on Copyright and Neighbouring Rights and by Federal Decree-Law No. 36 of 2021 on Trademarks.
Our name, our logo and our visual identity may not be used without our prior written consent.
5. Third-party trademarks
Esri, ArcGIS and related marks are trademarks of Environmental Systems Research Institute, Inc. Other product and company names on this site are the trademarks of their respective owners. We refer to them only to describe the platforms our services work with.
We are an independent consultancy. We are not a distributor, reseller or authorised training provider for any of those vendors, and nothing on this site should be read as implying any partnership, endorsement or affiliation.
6. The content is not professional advice
The material on this site is published for general information. It is not technical, engineering, legal, tax or financial advice, and it does not take account of your particular circumstances. You should not act on it without taking specific professional advice.
We take reasonable care over the content, but we do not warrant that it is complete, accurate or current at all times.
7. Enquiries, proposals and engagements
Nothing on this site is an offer capable of acceptance. Descriptions of our services, delivery times, response times and engagement models are indicative. A binding relationship arises only when we and you sign an engagement letter or other written agreement.
Sending an enquiry does not create a client relationship and does not by itself impose duties of confidentiality beyond those described in section 8.
8. Information you submit to us
Before you submit an enquiry or subscribe to our briefing you must confirm that you accept these terms and have read our Privacy Policy. We will not accept a submission without that confirmation.
We treat the content of your enquiry as confidential and use it only to respond to you, as described in our Privacy Policy. Please do not send us sensitive personal data, classified material or third-party confidential information through the website.
You confirm that anything you send us is accurate, that you are entitled to send it, and that it does not infringe the rights of anyone else.
9. Links to other websites
Where we link to a third-party site we do so for convenience. We do not control those sites and we are not responsible for their content, their availability or their handling of your data.
10. Availability of the website
We provide the site on an ‘as available’ basis. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of it, without notice, and we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
11. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by the laws of the United Arab Emirates, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, loss of profit, loss of business, loss of anticipated savings or loss of data arising from your use of, or inability to use, this website or anything you rely on in it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where UAE law does not permit it to be excluded or limited. In particular, and in accordance with Article 296 of Federal Law No. 5 of 1985 (the Civil Transactions Law), nothing here excludes liability for a harmful act, for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by our negligence.
12. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify us against any claim, loss or cost we incur as a result of your breach of these terms or your misuse of the website.
13. Events beyond our control
We are not liable for any failure to perform caused by an event beyond our reasonable control, including network or hosting failure, act of government, or force majeure as recognised under UAE law.
14. Privacy and personal data
How we handle personal data is set out in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The version published on this page is the version in force, and the date it was last updated is shown at the top.
16. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or with your use of this website, are governed by the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates as applied in the Emirate of Sharjah. The courts of the Emirate of Sharjah have exclusive jurisdiction.
17. Language
These terms are published in Arabic and English. In the event of any discrepancy between the two versions, the Arabic version prevails.
18. Severability
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.
